Born in Karcag on October 28, 1941.
He graduated from Fazekas Mihály High School in Debrecen.
He completed his studies at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in 1965, where he also earned a doctoral degree in 2009.
He began his career at Miskolc National Theatre in 1965. After that, he performed at several theaters, from 1984, he was a member of the Móricz Zsigmond Theatre in Nyíregyháza, where he served as the director from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, since 1994, he has also taught at the drama department of Ady Endre High School in Debrecen.
