Pierre, a high-profile Parisian publisher, can hardly wait to introduce his friends to his latest acquisition, “The Champion of Fools.” This is the essence of the fool’s dinner: a competition where the winner is the one who can present the greatest fool to the company. However, the evening takes an unexpected turn: Pierre’s back goes out, his wife leaves him alone, and the unsuspecting guest, the “Champion of Fools,” arrives. From this point on, Pierre—and, of course, we the audience—are uncontrollably swept into the new rounds of the “Fools Championship”… Who will ultimately win the championship? Who will be crowned the Champion of Fools?
