Pass Andrea író, rendező figyelmét egy YouTube csatorna keltette fel és késztette írásra: „Elkezdtem nézni a videókat, mert volt valami mélyen nyugtalanító az egészben, meg akartam érteni. Amit ez a bizonyos csatorna közvetít, az sokak számára a vágyott tökéletesség, szépség, jólét, szeretet, harmónia. Aztán belefutottam egy TikTok szereplőbe, ami a másik véglet az önmagukat középpontba helyező tartalomgyárosok skáláján, az a fajta médiaszereplő, aki látványos sebezhetőségének, esendőségének köszönhetően hamar a nézők céltáblájává vált. Ez a két végpont kezdett el érdekelni, hogy hogyan tudom őket egy, már-már mitikus történet két végpontjaként ábrázolni egy drámában.” A harmadik „főszereplő”, az a szociálisan kiszolgáltatott, végig az igazságot kereső fiú, akit a kereskedelmi televízió hülyegyerekként értékesít, valahol középen helyezkedik el a történetben. Így áll össze a közösségimédia-szereplők különös univerzuma, amely nem engedi el a néző figyelmét.

Finale – a modern drama about the devil of the social media with English subtitle in Csokonai Theater
The Csokonai Theater performs the modern drama, Finale with English subtitles on 30 October at 19:00 in the Kóti Árpád Hall of the Csokonai Forum.
„I started watching online videos because there was something deeply disturbing about the whole thing, I wanted to understand it. For many people, what this particular channel is conveying is the perfection, beauty, well-being, love, harmony that many people long for. Then I came across a TikTok character, the other extreme of the scale of self-centred content creators, the kind of media actor who quickly became a target for viewers because of her vulnerability. It was these two endpoints that got me interested in how I could portray them as two endpoints in a drama, in an almost mythical story.” – the playwright and director Pass andrea says. The third ‘protagonist’, the socially vulnerable boy, who is always seeking justice and is marketed as a dumb kid by commercial television, is somewhere in the middle of the story. This is how the strange universe of social media characters is put together in a universe that never lets go of the viewer’s attention.
The company of the Csokonai National Theater tells a poignant story about the impact of the media industry, the sensationalism and the matrix of the virtual world.
